Overview

This endpoint is used to purchase all items in a basket.

You should note that the checkout endpoint is idempotent; multiple calls will not result in duplicate bookings.

There are two ways you can interact with this endpoint depending on your envisioned payment flow and the commercial agreement set in place.

If you wish to leverage your own payment gateway to process transactions for tickets supplied by Tickitto on your platform, then please refer to the guidance in Partner as Merchant of Record.

Alternatively, Tickitto can be the merchant of record by capturing payments and confirming checkouts on your behalf from your customers. The Tickitto API has an integration with Stripe. Please refer to the guidance in Tickitto as Merchant of Record.
