Tickitto Docs

Overview

Tickitto's API provides a simple and consistent view of our event inventory (such as event title, event description, event images, seating maps, prices, etc.) as well as services to interact with the inventory, such as selecting a ticket for an event, adding to basket and checking out.

By integrating with our fully transactional API, you'll be able to view and purchase tickets for events across different genres and geographies.

The Tickitto API provides the fastest and quickest approach to start selling our inventory on your platform through Tickitto's Ticket Selection Widget.

Depending on the event admission type, the Widget renders the relevant UI components necessary for ticket buyers to select a ticket such as interactive seating maps, time slots, and calendar dates.

Every Widget is availability aware and loads in real-time what seats, dates, and times are available to be selected for that event. Any additional selection required for add ons, pickup points, or concessions will be displayed in the Widget.

The Ticket Selection Widget is generated as a URL via the availability endpoint. It is fully responsive on mobile and desktop and can be white-labeled to match your platform's look and feel.

This approach minimizes the orchestration of various API calls and removes the complexity of designing event-specific seating maps and other front-end components necessary for enabling users to select event tickets.
